Hot Action Cop released their self-titled debut album on Lava/Atlantic Records in March 2003. They had success with their first single "Fever For The Flava". The song was featured on the soundtrack for the movie "American Pie 3 - American Wedding". The video for that song also received play on MTV, along with the video for their second single "Don't Want Her To Stay". Hot Action Cop's music has been featured on other soundtracks and video games. "Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2" features the song "Fever For The Flava". "Sammy L. Jackson" was featured on the "S.W.A.T." soundtrack. "Fever For The Flava" was also featured on the soundtracks for "The Real Cancun" "Grind" and "The Hot Chick". In 2009, the band solified a new line-up, recorded new songs, and have now hooked-up with Marcy Playground for shows this summer, and will be playing many live shows for the remainder of the year.
