MICHAEL RAND has been in working in the music industry for over 25 years. He is the former owner of Ashley Talent International Inc. and co-owner of Paradise Artists. He is also the founder of the Rock Never Stops Tour as well as New World Disorder. He started in his hometown of Detroit managing the band Rhythm Corps. He guided the careers of Rhythm Corps, Kid Rock and Blue October. Michael has been the responsible agent for Seven Mary Three, Sponge, Days of the New, The Knack, Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms, Sister Machine Gun, Hansel Und Gretyl, Ian Hunter, The Presidents of the United States of America, Blue October, Crud, The Rockets and several others. He has booked tours for Ted Nugent, Vince Neil (of Motley Crue), Warrant, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Slaughter, Wasp, Whitesnake, Jackyl, Cinderella, Firehouse, UFO and LA Guns. Michael Rand also enjoyed focusing on artist development, where he landed major label record deals for Sister Soleil, Blue October and The Atomic Fireballs. KEVIN HARLEY contacted Michael and the two decided it would be ideal to join forces. Harley started his music life as a musician playing around the local scene. He later started promoting concerts for Seven Mary Three and Days of the New.
PAUL RILEY began his career in the winter of 2003 working with a childhood friend’s band in Ohio. In a short time (2 weeks), he was in over his head, but with a good head, Paul managed to hit the ground running and never looked back. Working in local promotions for 4 years throughout the Cincinnati and surrounding areas, Paul developed his knowledge of the music industry, until one day he met Michael Rand which was the beginning of a new era for Paul. Over the next year, Michael groomed Paul into a professional agent and now Paul is one of the strongest agents in the company. With US tours like Joey Belladonna Summer 2008, Taproot Spring 2009, and Bobaflex Summer 2009 behind him, skies look bright ahead for another great agent to step on the field of play. Paul is the responsible agent for such bands as Green Jelly, Scum of the Earth, and shares RA status with Michael Rand on Bang Tango.
RYAN DARNELL has been in the music industry for a span of 15 years. As the drummer for Innercorse and Even The Odd, he was also signed with Madonna’s Maverick Records in 1999 and recorded with producer Dave Jerden (Alice in Chains). He also landed deals with Volcano Records, and New York Indie Label-Wrong Records with distribution through Sony’s Red Ink (Distribution). Ryan has also worked with producers such as Ron St. Germain (311, Tool, Bad Brains, U2, Mos Def, Jimi Hendrix), GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Chris Shaw (Sum 41, Sheryl Crow, Weezer, Cypre ss Hill) and co-label owner Daniel Wise (John Mayer, Scissor Sisters, Secret Machines). After numerous tours and shows, Darnell decided to play on the other side of the stage and pursue the management side of music. With more than a decade of music industry experience, his goal is to now actively take his artists’ career to the next level of success.
